Black Jack

On Wednesday when we walked into the room we were all handed 12 poker chips, and them we had to go sit at a table. 12 people were allowed the sit down at the table and place their bets. We were then given one card and then another that was flipped up. Then the dealer asked if we wanted to get another card "hit" or if we wanted to stay. You wanted to try getting as close as you could get to 21. And if you went over then you "busted" and you lost the Chips that you bet. When I played my first hand I didn't know what I was doing at first, and then the next three hands I understood the game more. Throughout the game you wanted to try and end up getting the most chips in the class, but you had to make sure that you played at least 4 hands, and if you didn't get the chance to play four hands, you were able to win. This activity was a good idea, because it taught us strategy, and we had to be able to think and look at the positives. Playing blackjack, was just like buying an investment, with a little trade.
